I am an1 experienced Women focused Counsellor, who has worked in various sectors over my career.. I have a depth of experiencing in offering therapeutic space to explore issues arising and work in an integrative, compassion focused way to develop the therapeutic relationship. I work creatively with individual need allowing a range of therapeutic processes to be used.

EMDR is a huge part of my practice using creative means to explore ‘stuck memories’. Working in a EMDR process helps move memories quickly and focuses on primary target memories. Problems i have worked with are anxiety, depression, childhood abuse, domestic abuse, sexual violence, pregnancy loss, fertility issues, birth trauma, postnatal depression, low self esteem, low mood, eating distress, anger, loss, identity issues, family issues, self harm and suicidal ideation

Counselling is a huge step and can feel a fearful process. I aim to offer a safe and secure space to ensure all my clients feel comfortable with the process. I aim to support and empower clients to work at a pace that feels right for them. I offer an initial consultation to allow you to meet me and ask any questions.

I am also a qualified yoga teacher, studying in Bali to gain my 200hr accredited training. I set up Yogabud and have been running community based yoga classes since 2014. I teach yin yoga, which is a meditative style of slow paced yoga, allowing us to connect into ourselves and sit with emotion.
